Florida Farms

Designed a long-range conservation development plan balancing the economic needs of the property owner with the strategic needs of the US Air Force and ecological value recognized by Conservation Florida. Coordinated with the US Air Force – Avon Park Air Force Range, Central Florida Regional Planning Council and Polk County planning staff to create a Land Use plan that allows commercial and recreational use to enhance the economic viability of the site while conserving the historic and ecological value of the property. Services included Land Use change, Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code text amendment applications, and assisting with the creation of a conservation easement for the property.
